Each of these scholarships is named after one of St. Emmelia’s children. As you prepare your scholarship materials, please ask for their intercessions!
The St. Basil Clergy Scholarship
This scholarship is designated for children of clergy families who are enrolled in an online Orthodox Christian classical education program. Applicants should be:
Orthodox Christians attending parishes in Communion with the Antiochian Orthodox Patriarchate (i.e. Greek Archdiocese, Romanian, OCA, ROCOR, Serbian)
A clergy family (defined as the family of a priest, deacon, seminarian, or missionary)
Enrolled or accepted for admission in an online Orthodox Christian educational program (e.g.: Saint Raphael School [some Schole Academy classes for SRS students will be considered, especially STEM], Classical Resource Learning Center, etc.)
To apply, email programs@saintemmelia.com with a brief introduction, including children’s names and grades for upcoming school year, parents’ church or affiliated institution (e.g., Saint Vladimir’s) including diocesan bishop, and the educational program the scholarship will be used for with specific classes and prices. Once approved, families will need to submit proof of enrollment in an educational program.
Rolling applications with preference to registration dates. Families may apply for this scholarship once a year.
The St. Theosebia Scholarship
The St. Theosebia Scholarship is open to any Orthodox Christian homeschool family who demonstrates need for tuition or curriculum assistance. To apply, please email programs@saintemmelia.com with a brief introduction of your family and your need. Further instructions will be sent via email. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
The St. Gregory Merit Scholarship
The St. Gregory Merit Scholarship will be awarded to one graduating senior each year. It is part of the St. Gregory Scholars program. Read more about the Scholars Program & Scholarship here.
One element of being a St. Gregory Scholar is completing a service project or the Saint Emmelia Ministries Internship Program. Interns can help support our different projects while gaining work experience. Tasks will be assigned based on the intern’s interests, but might include: working on the website, editing lecture/workshop recordings, writing thank yous and other correspondence, and helping plan teen events.
This scholarship application opens May 10, 2024. For more information, email us at office@saintemmelia.com. Applications for the summer internship will open in May.
The Orthodox Homeschool Co-Op Grant
